Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age more than 18 years. Patients willing for participation in the study. All patients undergoing exploratory laparotomy in the emergency regardless of indication for surgery, type of closure, duration and final outcome.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age less than 18 years. Patient not willing for participation. Patients who developed wound dehiscence after second surgery. Female patients undergoing gynaecological procedure.
