Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patient age of more than 18 years patient having ventral hernia diameter >1cm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patient who are not willing to give informed consent patient age less than 18 years ventral hernia in pregnancy patient not fit for general anaesthesia

To study the differences between laparoscopic ipom and sublay technique for ventral hernias in relation to duration of surgery,wound complications like wound infection,necrosis,hematoma and also hospital stay and recurrence rates within 6 months after surgeryTimepoint: follow up of patients for 6 months after surgery
