Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Phase I: The quantitative aspect of the study will be delimited to the mothers of children: 1. with spastic cerebral palsy of any age group 2. belonging to any age group and occupation 3.involved in the direct care of the Cerebral Palsy child 4. providing rehabilitative care at home for at least 6 months, 5.able to understand, write and speak either English, Assamese or Hindi Language. Phase II: The qualitative aspect of the study will be delimited to the mothers of children falling in the category of high level of strain (i.e. scoring between 19-26 in the MCSI tool) irrespective of their demographic data.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The study will exclude mothers of children with cerebral palsy who are: 1. taking care of children with Cerebral Palsy other than spastic type 2.are not the primary care givers of their Cerebral Palsy child.

Through this study the caregivers will get ample opportunity to share their experiences while caring for Cerebral palsy child which will in turn help the future researchers to plan and implement strategies to help the caregivers overcome their challenges.Timepoint: 6-8 Weeks and 12-13 weeks
