Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria: All patients with COVID-19 PCR positive (within 7 days)/PCR pending/high clinical suspicion admitted to VIRUS study participating hospital will be eligible. 1. COVID-19 PCR positive (within 7 days) 2. COVID-19 PCR pending 3. COVID-19 high clinical suspicion

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria: 1. Patient without Prior Research Authorization (applicable to Mayo Clinic sites) 2. Non COVID-19 related admissions 3. Repeated Admission to ICUs/Hospital

To create a real time COVID-19 registry of current ICU/hospital care patterns to allow evaluations of safety and observational effectiveness of COVID-19 practices To determine the variations in practice across hospitals Hypothesis: The registry will be essential for near-real time observational comparative effectiveness studies to learn effective treatment strategies and/or provide meaningful hypotheses for clinical trialsTimepoint: 04/30/2021

To prospectively validate standardized critical care data dictionary (C2D2) elements for Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) in 50-100 community and academic hospitals across all 10 U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) regions and abroad. To develop a prototype of an EHR-based automated collection of standardized data elements for testing in two community and two academic hospitals equipped with a standard EHR.Timepoint: 30/04/2021
