Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients with clinical findings suggestive of vishaada will be the potential trial subjects. 2.Patient in the age group of 18-60 years of either sex. 3.The patient willing to participate. 4.Patient diagnosed with generalized anxiety. disorder according to Hamilton anxiety rating scale and having a total score of above 17 in the scale will be include.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patient with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, uncontrolled hypertension and other systemic diseases. 2.Patient suffering from organic brain diseases. 3.Vishaada due to direct physiological effect of substance (e.g. drug abuse, a medication) or a general medical condition (e.g. hyperthyroidism). 4.Occurrence of vishaada (anxiety disorder) exclusively during mood disorder, a psychotic disorder or a pervasive development disorder. 5.Patient having chronic diseases like encephalitis, meningitis, malignancies, chronic renal failure etc. will be excluded. 6.Patient suffering from alcohol addiction. 7.Patient having HAM-A score under 17.
