Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Squamous cell carcinoma with frozen section negativity of level IIA No preoperative signs of myopathy or neuropathy Absence of locoregional recurrence

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Previously operated cases N3 stage of metastasis Tumor directly involving the accessory nerve Base of tongue, palate squamous cell carcinoma Patients with Sternocleidomastoid resected H/o shoulder pathology or neck pathology(cervical spondylosis)
