Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Presence of gingival physiologic melanin pigmentation on anterior segment with scoring of �3(according to hedin and dummet index) 2. Absence of medical condition that could affect the tissue healing &procedure. 3. Periodontal status of the patient should be fair

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients who had malignancy. 2. Patients having hypersensitive reaction against diode laser and Tetrafluroethane cryogen. 3. Pregnant and lactating women. 4. Patients with cold intolerance or cold urticaria. 5. Patients not willing for participation in the study and further follow up. 6. Patients having smoking habit.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Therapy provided in this study will provide depigmentation of the gingiva and esthetically pleasing results, also gives an idea of better treatment.Timepoint: All patients will be recalled after 30, 90 & 180 days respectively for follow-up and record the reoccurrence of pigmentation
