To compare the use of two techniques, an ultrasonic bone suction method and a bone punching method in patients undergoing an endoscopic surgery in patients with excessive tears falling from eyes due to a chronic infection.

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients more than 18 years of age undergoing Endoscopic Endonasal Dacryocystorhinostomy for Nasolacrimal duct obstruction in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at AIIMS Jodhpur.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with age less than 18 years, or with congenital dacryocystitis, or common canalicular block, or multiple co-morbidities like tuberculosis or malignancy and revision cases.
