Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All the women posted for caesarian section under spinal anaesthesia with 1.Grade 3 & 4 as per Lucas classification of urgency of caesarian section. 2.Singleton pregnancy. 3. Age between 20 to 35 years 4 gestational age MORE THAN 34 weeks. 5. American Society of Anaesthesiologists Physical Status 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Any pregnancy complications like pregnancy-induced hypertension, gestational diabetes, abruptio placenta, placenta previa. 2.Any medical diseases like Diabetes mellitus, Hypertension, Cardiac diseases, Severe anemia, Peripheral vascular diseases. 3. Body mass index >35 kg/metre 2 . 4. Height less than 150 cm and more than 170 cm. 5. Hemoglobinopathies. 6. Foetal anomalies. 7. Inability to take measurements of IVC with ultrasound. 8. Patients with contraindication for spinal anaesthesia. 9. Parturient with baseline heart of heart rate less than 50/minutes. 10. Parturient with mean blood pressure of less than 65 mm of mercury. 11. Partial spinal block.
