Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pain on defecation 2. Passage of bright streaks of blood along with stool 3. Onset of the symptoms within 6 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Chronic Fissure-in-ano. 2. Fissure in ano due to secondary causes such as Crohnâ??s Disease, HIV, Ulcerative Colitis, 3. Carcinoma of Rectum, Tuberculosis. 4. Fissure in ano associated with Hemorrhoids, Fistula-in-ano. 5. Uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus.
