Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects in the age group 25 to 64 years of both genders suffering from chronic periodontitis. Systemically healthy subjects. Subjects having periodontal pockets of >= 4mm. Subjects with a minimum of 16 teeth present. Subjects who give an informed consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects who have a habit of smoking and using tobacco products. Pregnant and lactating women. Subjects who are known to be allergic or hypersensitive to chlorhexidine gluconate or green tea related compounds.
