Health Condition 1: H021- Ectropion of eyelid

Interventions

Intervention1: Autologous Fat Grafting: Tumescent anaesthesia (TA) consisting of 500 ml of 0.9% NaCl solution mixed with 12.5ml of 2% lignocaine, 0.5 ml of 1:1000 adrenaline and 6.25 ml of 8.4% sodium

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: -Patient with cicatricial ectropion with or without previous history of surgery -Age >18 years -Patient willing to give consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -Patients with grade IV ectropion and/or corneal exposure requiring surgical procedure -Patients with severe eyelid deformity such as telecanthus, coloboma, dystopia of canthus etc -Patients with proptosis, enophthalmous, hypoglobous or shrunken globe -Extensive facial scar -Pregnancy -Patients not willing to follow up

Primary

MeasureTime frame
At each follow up examination will be done keeping in mind the following parameters- 1.Lid position (grade of ectropion) 2.Lagophthalmos 3.Vertical palpebral aperture & lid retraction 4.Dry eye status 5.Local and systemic complications 6.Appearance of scar (patient scar assessment score) will be done at 2 months, 3 months and 6 months of follow up. 7.Patient overall satisfaction score will be done at 3 and 6 months. 8.Patientââ?¬â?¢s photographs ââ?¬â?? Photographs will be taken at each visit. Timepoint: Follow up of the patient on day 1 after 1 weeks at 1 month 2 months 3 months and 6 months(if possible) of the procedure

MeasureTime frame
Correction of lagophthalmos and lid retraction Improvement in dry eye status. Subjective improvement in scar in terms of colour, thickness, and consistency. Patient overall satisfaction score Timepoint: Follow up of the patient on day 1, after 1 weeks, at 1 month, 2 months, 3 months and 6 months(if possible) of the procedure
