Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having chief & associated complains of Madhumeha (Prabhuta-Avilmutrata, pipasadhikya, kshudhadhikya etc) Patients having Fasting blood sugar level ? 126 mg/dl and or PPBS level ? 200 mg/dl Known patients of Type2 Diabetes and also the preliminarily diagnosed patients on the basis of signs and symptoms of the disease are confirmed by FBS and PPBS.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age more than 60 and below 30 years Pramehapidaka (Diabetic nonhealing wound), Systemic infection, active infection other than superficial mild skin infestation Secondary Diabetes mellitus. Patients of any other severe illness. Type 1 Diabetes Malignant and accelerated hypertensive. Other chronic debilitating diseases. Pregnant woman and expecting conception (within six month) Lactating mothers. Patients with fatal diabetic complication like end stage renal disease Patient with diabetic ketoacidosis, diabetic nephropathy and neuropathy. Patients on Insulin and are dire need of it, patients taking OHA other than Metformin.
