Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient having symptoms like Dry skin, Itching, etc of Atopic Dermatitis. 2.Children between the age group of 1 year to 8 years. 3.Gender - Male and Female

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Weeping eczemas, infected lesion will be excluded from the study. 2.Children having any other associated illness like diarrhoea, acute respiratory infections and acute febrile or other disorders will be excluded from the study. 3.Lichenified skin changes. 4.Lesions greater than 9% body surface area.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate efficacy of external application of Amrutaarishtadi Ghrita three times a day is as effective as Emollient, three times a day in the treatment of Charmadal (Atopic Dermatitis) for 2 weeks.Timepoint: 2 weeks with follow up on 7th and 14th day.

Secondary

1. To observe the adverse effects if any. 2. To compare efficacy of Amrutaarishtadi Ghrita. 3. To compare efficacy of Emollient.Timepoint: 2 weeks with follow up on 7th and 14th day.
