Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of either sex undergoing upper limb surgery under ultrasound guided supraclavicular nerve block. 2. Age between 18-60 years. 3. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I and II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with: 1. Diabetes mellitus. 2. Peripheral vascular disease. 3. Allergy to local anaesthetics. 4. Use of medications like alpha and beta blocker drugs. 5. Local site infection. 6. Refusal to consent.
