Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: CASE Patients of age group 18-60 years Patients fulfilling the diagnostic criteria(major criteria- bahalam kapham( expectorate profuse sputum), madhura kapham (sweetness of sputum), saandra kapham(viscid sputum), ghana kapham(thick sputum), utklesha(nausea). minor criteria- asya madhurya(sweet taste in the mouth),peenasa(nasal dischrage),lomaharsa(horripilation),mandagni(reduced appetite), swarabheda (hoarseness of voice). Patients of either gender will be taken for study CONTROL Healthy individuals matched with both gender and age group 18-60 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient suffering from chronic respiratory disorders, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pulmonary tuberculosis, pulmonary carcinoma Other serious systemic illness(cardio vascular diseases)

Primary

MeasureTime frame
A case control study to evaluate the risk factor of intake of dadhi leads to kaphaja kasa.Timepoint: Assessment will be done by using validated questionniare of Dadhi sevana in both the groups which will be assessed at an interval of 10-15 weeks.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the Dadhi Sevana (curds intake) in the patients of Kaphaja KasaTimepoint: Assessment will be done by using validated questionniare of Dadhi sevana in both the groups, there are no multiple time points as it is single time point as this is a cross sectional study
