Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age matched Postmenopausal women, with and without type 2 diabetes mellitus Age group between 40- 70 years Women having surgically induced menopause

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women who underwent lower limb surgery in the last 6 months Women having pain and difficulty in ambulation Women having neuromuscular disorder

Body composition: percentage of visceral fat(%), muscle mass(%)and subcutaneous fat(%) Balance: Antero-Posterior sway velocity (mm/sec), mediolateral sway velocity(mm/sec) and velocity moment (mm2/sec) Timepoint: Once on the day of recruitment
