Intervention1: medicated enema: 30 diagnosed subjects of Vicharchika will be taken in one group and treatment will be given with Basti(medicated enema) in sequence of Utkleshana, Doshahara and Samsham

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.subjects who are fulfilling diagnostic criteria. a.Atikandu (Excessive itching) b.Bahusraav c.Rukshta (Roughness) d.Shyavapidika (Redness and Pustules) 2.Subjects who are fit for Basti. 3.Subjects who are willing to sign informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects with complications of Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Impaired Cardiac Function. 2. History of HIV, HbSAg, Carcinoma and Tuberculosis 3. Pregnant women

MeasureTime frame
Signs and symptoms of Vicharchika (Eczema) will be assessed by giving suitable scoring at three intervals namely before, 1st day, second on 9th day after completion of treatment and follow up on 18th day. The disease activity of the patient will be assessed by ESAI Score, symptoms of Vicharchika like Atikandu (Excessive itching), Bahusraav, Rukshta (Roughness), Shayavapidika (Redness and pustules) that will be assessed on 18th day. Timepoint: Three intervals namely before i.e. 1st day, second on 9th day after completion of treatment and follow up on 18th day.
