Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients undergoing orthodontic treatment who require maximum or absolute anchorage 2.Extraction of 1st premolars in the maxilla 3. Upper anterior proclination 4. Fixed metal appliance with MBT 0.022 bracket prescription

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients requiring extraction other than 1st premolars in the maxilla 2. Immunocompromised patients
