Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Fifty patients with a fresh diagnosis of neurocysticercosis will be enrolled in this study. The patients will undergo a routine standard of care of MRI followed by MD-dMR. Follow up scans will be performed at 6 months and 12 months interval in these patients. The differences in the findings on MD-dMR between lesions developing calcifications and those healing by gliosis will be analyzed.
