Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: All patients aged =18 years on elective OR list whose surgery is cancelled.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with psychiatric disorders 2. Patients unable to answer the questionnaire 3. Refusal of surgery by patient and relatives 4. Patient refusal for participation in study

MeasureTime frame
To determine the economic and emotional impact of surgery cancellation on patients.Timepoint: at the time of cancellation of surgery and rescheduling time

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary aim: 1. To find out the incidence of cancellations of elective surgeries. 2. To find out the magnitude of avoidable and unavoidable reasons for surgery cancellations. 3. To determine the economic and emotional impact of surgery cancellation on primary relatives of patients. 4. To determine the average time gap for rescheduling after the cancellation of surgery. 5. To determine the percentage and type of non-reporting of the patients after first time surgery cancellation. Timepoint: on date and time of surgery cancellation and up-to reschedule of surgery
