Intervention1: temporomyofascial flap: patients with temporomyofascial flap group A, will be operated for TMJ ankylosis and evaluated immediately post-operatively, 10 days post operatively and 6 month

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients with unilateral TMJ ankylosis. patients giving consent for the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with uncontrolled systemic disease. pregnant patients. patients refusing consent for follow-up or investigations.

Buccal fat pad will remain in the TMJ with minimal shrinkage after 6 months hence preventing re-ankylosis. Maximum interincisal distance/mouth opening will be more in buccal fat pad group. Timepoint: maximum interincisal distance comparison at 6 months. Re-ankylosis at 6 months.	—

S2: from tragus of ear to soft tissue pogonion.
