Interventions

Intervention1: Marham-e-dakhilyun and Roghan-e-sausan: 10gms marham will be given for Hamul daily at bed time for 21 days after menses. Control Intervention1: Not applicable: Not applicable

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1-Married women b/w the age group 18-45 years. 2-Cervicitis diagnosis through p/s examination (Hypertrophy, congestion, redness and Nabothian cyst on cervix). 3-Complaints of vaginal discharge low back ache and low abdominal pain. •Inflammatory changes in Pap smear.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1-Patients with Pelvic inflammatory disease, Malignancy, benign lesions. 2-Systemic diseases (Hypertension, Thyroid dysfunction ,Diabetes mellitus), Sexually transmitted infections, Intra-uterine contraceptive devices, Oral contraceptives. 3-Pregnancy and lactation.

MeasureTime frame
Change in subjective parameters.Timepoint: Duration of therapy is 21 days after menses and follow up weekly.
