Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Group A ââ?¬â??Non smoker patients a) Patient with age group 30-60 years b) Patients who had never smoked c) Generalized chronic periodontitis (ââ?°Â¥ 30% sites) patients exhibiting mild clinical attachment loss of 1-2mm d) Patients with pocket depth of 4-6mm e) Patients willing to participate in the study. Group B-Smoker patients a) Patients with age group 30-60 years b) Current smoker having ââ?°Â¤ 10 cigarettes/day in past 2 years c) Generalized chronic periodontitis (ââ?°Â¥ 30% sites) patients exhibiting mild clinical attachment loss of 1-2mm d) Patients with pocket depth of 4-6mm. e) Patients willing to participate in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a) Pregnant women or lactating mothers. b) History of systemic diseases c) Patients with history of periodontal treatment in past 3 months.
