Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients presenting with signs and symptoms of Shushkaakshipaka (Dry eye disease) described asperAyurveda and Modern science will be included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Dry Eye due to any local cause e.g. Allergicconjunctivitis ,Xerosis etc. Dry Eye due to systemic disease like Sjogrenâ??s Syndrome. Patients on Steroids, Oral Contraceptive pills,Estrogen replacement therapy or any othermedication such as Antispasmodic drugs like Atropine that may adversely affectthe outcome of the study. Persistent contact lens users.
