Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Age group between 13-21yrs. 2)ASA I and II patients. 3)Patientshaving DMFT score greater than 5 and with at least one active carious lesion.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients who used chemical anti-plaque agents and mechanical debridement procedures or were under antibiotics therapies. 2)Patients with development anomalies. 3)Mentally challenged patients. 4)Patients with xerostomia. 5)Patients undergoing fixed orthodontic appliance therapy.
