Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Children with at least one soft caries lesion (cavitated active caries lesion) 2. Small caries lesion (less than half of the mesial or distal or less than 1/3rd of the buccal, lingual or occlusal surfaces)
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pulpal exposure 2. History of pain 3. Non vital teeth 4. Swelling/fistula 5. Silver allergy 6. Arrested caries /inactive lesions 7. Teeth at the period of shedding 8. Restored teeth 9. Secondary caries 10. Fluorosis 11. Enamel hypoplasia 12. Uncooperative children 13. Children with physical and mental disability 14. Children without signed informed consent
