Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients having any of the three symptoms such as burning micturition, dysuria, supra pubic pain, scanty urination Patients who are willing to go for urine routine, culture and blood investigation Patients with urine culture significant for bacteria, fungus (eg:Escherichia coli, klebsiella, Enterococci,Proteus mirabilis, Stapylococci etc) Patient willing to sign the informed consent stating that she will consciously stick to the treatment but can opt out of the study of her own conscious discretion.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: vulnerable groups(pregnancy and lactation) Genito urinary tuberculosis Diabetes mellitus Malignancy Sexually transmitted diseases like HIV,Syphilis Known case of Hepatitis B,C Renal stone Patients who are not willing to undergo for urine routine, culture and blood investigation

Primary

MeasureTime frame
It is assessed by negative urine culture for bacterial/fungal growth, urine routine investigation and absence of clinical signs and symptoms of UTITimepoint: sixteenth day

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The siddha basic principles like envagai thervu, neerkkuri, neikkuri, udal thathukkal, uyir thathukkal will be studied The co-factors such as age,sex, family history, socio-economic status, occupational history, dietary habits related to the disease will be assessed The physico chemaical and phytochemical analysis of the study drug will be evaluated In vitro anti-microbial activity of the study drug will be evaluated Timepoint: sixteenth day
