Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Schizophrenia diagnosed as per ICD 10 guidelines currently stabilized on antipsychotic medication for more than six months 2. Women in marital relationship for at least six months 3. Age between 18 to 45 years 4. Those who willing to participate and give their consent for study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Women with schizophrenia having active psychotic features like delusions, hallucinations, thought disturbances, behavioural problems etc 2. Patients with intellectual disabilities as per clinical evaluation regarding general funds of information, patientââ?¬•s ability to adapt to the environment, activities of daily functioning and academic achievements. 3. Patients on history reporting any gynaecological problems, pregnancy, post-partum status,or any medical illnesses 4. Language difficulty to understand about sexual terminologies to participate in the study

MeasureTime frame
The study would asses the current sexual functioning and sexual dysfuctions present in women with SchizophreniaTimepoint: Sexual functioning over last 3 months will be assessed prior to recruitment in study

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The study would assess the childhood beliefs knowledge about sexuality and its impact in relationship with husband, it would also assess the impact of Schizophrenia and Antipsychotic medications on patients sexual fuctioningTimepoint: 1.Impact of knowledge about sexuality and sexual functioning on relationship with husband since 6 months. 2.Impact of Schizophrenia and medications on patients sexual functioning since last 6 months.
