Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Diagnosis of schizophrenia according to ICD-11 Drug naïve/ not on any antipsychotic drug for more than 2 weeks.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient on immunosuppressants Patients with overt infection in the past 2 weeks, hematological disorders, chronic liver or kidney disease, autoimmune disorders and chronic inflammatory disease Patient on antibiotics (chloramphenicol, tetracycline, rifampicin, polymyxin b, nitrofurantoin) Patients with known immunodeficiency disorder Patients with epilepsy Patients unable to tolerate clozapine Patients with agranulocytosis or granulocytopenia Patients with paralytic ileus, CNS depression, myeloproliferative disorder Patients with substance use disorder except tobacco and caffeine Pregnant and lactating women Patient who have received depot antipsychotics in the past 3 months

To assess the levels of serum immunoglobulins and interleukins in patients of schizophrenia on clozapine at baseline and at 6 weeks and 12 weeks.
