Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients between the age group of 40-60 years diagnosed with SandhigataVata on the basis of classical symptoms. 2. patients who comes under American college of rheumatology criteria for osteoarthritis of the knee joints (clinical & radiological examination).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients not full filing the inclusion criteria. 2. Patients of age less than 40 & more than 60 years. 3. Patient with secondary osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis. 4. Patient with recent history of Any Trauma on knee joint. 5. Patient with BMI >30.

Objective assessment: Pain on VAS Western Ontario McMaster University (WOMAC) osteoarthritis index Range of joint movement measured with goniometer Shoph (Joint swelling by measuring girth) Radiological findings: X-ray imaging of knee joint in lateral and anterio-posterior viewTimepoint: 9 weeks divided into 3 follow-ups of 3 weeks each
