Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA category 1 children aged 6-12 years. 2. Having a mandibular primary molar tooth requiring pulpal treatment. 3. Children requiring to undergo pulpal treatment under anesthesia for the first time

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Children suffering from any systemic condition, particularly cardiovascular or endocrine (thyroid) disorder 2. Medically compromised children and children with limited cognitive abilities. 3. Severe acute infection in area of operation such as space abscess. 4. Children with known allergy to the drug and those who show allergic reactions at the time of testing. 5. Children whose parents refuse to give consent. 6. Children who do not co-operate while performing the procedure
