Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Men and women with a BMI >=30 and between the age group of 15 to 55 were included in the study. The baseline data like weight, height & lipid profile of such individuals who were included in the study were collected.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: The obese individuals were selected on the basis of their body mass index and case was taken according to the predetermined pro-forma. Detailed physical examination was done for such individuals. The patients having endocrine diseases were excluded from the study.
