Intervention1: Group 1: Chemomechanical caries removal using Carie care as per manufacturer instructions followed by alternative restorative treatment using Fuji IX restorative material.

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children aged 6-15 years, with one or more than one cavitated carious lesions, single surface, occlusal load bearing area, which are be accessible to hand instruments in permanent dentition. Consent given by children and their parents are included
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Presence or history of pain/abscess/fistula/swelling near to the carious tooth. ïâ??· Deep carious lesions exposing pulp of tooth. ïâ??· Presence of tenderness on percussion. ïâ??· Children with syndromes, undergoing orthodontic treatment, developmental defects of teeth, or any other conditions that contraindicate the caries excavation/restorations.
