Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient in age group of 20-38 years. Patient meeting Rotterdam criteria20 (2 out of 3 criteria) Oligovulation or anovulation(Oligo oramenorrhoea) and Clinical evidence of Hyperandrogenism (acne, hirsutism) or Ultrasound finding of polycystic ovaries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with Thyroid dysfunction, hyperprolactinemia,Systemic illnesses, malignancy, morbid obesity, H/o using hormonal pills & insulin sensitizers within 3 months of study enrollment,Pregnancy and lactation.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Changes in menstrual cyclicityTimepoint: Menstrual cyclicity will be assessed in every cycle during the trial.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
changes in ovarian volume, BMI, Waist circumference and serum insulinTimepoint: secondary outcome will be assessed after completion of trial.
