Intervention1: Tablet Punarnavadi Mandur: 250 mg Twice a day with Buttermilk/Water for 3 months. Then a gap of one month will be given. The same cycle will be continued for one year. Control Intervent

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Subject of either sex between age group 12 to 16 years irrespective of their religion. 2. Subject having Hb between 7 gm/dl and 11 gm/dl. 3. Subject willing and able to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Age of subject is less than 12 years or more than 16 years. 2. Subject is having haemoglobin below 7 gm/dl or more than 11 gm/dl. 3. Subject is not willing to participate.

Improvement in the following factors - 1. Pallor 2. Dyspnoea on exertion 3. Palpitation 4. Dizziness Timepoint: 3 months medication - one month gap - 3 months medication - one month gap - 3 months medication
