Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA grade 1 and 2 patients undergoing surgery under GA

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient refusal,ASA grade 3 and 4, CNS disease, use of psychoactive mediaction , allergy to test medication, pregnant patients, patients undergoing intracranial surgery

Assess gender difference in opioid requirement based on entropy and algesiometryTimepoint: Recording entropy 5 minutes after fentanyl administration and algesiometry at baseline and after 5 minutes

To look for any difference in changes in hemodynamics in both the genders after fentanyl administrationTimepoint: Recording hemodynamics for 5 minutes after fentanyl administration
