Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.cases having full complement of permanent dentition 2.cases having tooth material-arch length discrepancy needing 1st premolar extraction treatment 3.should not have undergone orthodontic treatment previously

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.having congenitally missing dentition. 2.patients with congenital systemic diseases, syndromes 3.patients with poor gingival and periodontal health
