Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. ASA Physical status 1,2,3 and Emergency cases. 2. Non-diabetic patients undergoing foot surgeries. 3. Diabetic patientâ??s suffering from neuropathy according to Michigan neuropathic scoring undergoing foot surgeries.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal. 2. Diagnosis of diabetes but without meeting criteria for peripheral neuropathy. 3. Patients with neuropathy due to causes other than diabetes. 4. Significant existing sciatic neuropathy with motor deficit. 5. Allergy or hypersensitivity to local anaesthetics. 6. Coagulopathy or patients on anticoagulants with deranged bleeding parameters. 7. Infection at the site of infection. 8. Contraindication to a component of multimodal analgesia. 9. Preexisting opioid treatment. 10. Cognitive or psychiatric condition that might affect patient assessment.
