Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA PHYSICAL STATUS I,II,III MALAMPATTI GRADE 1/2 BMI Patients posted for planned shuolder surgery patients able to understand VAS regarding assesment of pain

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients not willing to participate allergy to local anaesthetics patients with coagulopathy,local infection patients with comorbid conditions affecting nerves like Diabetes mellitus,convulsions,epilepsy,motor neuron disease patients with preexisting neurological deficits history of drug or alcohol abuse, psychiatric illness

MeasureTime frame
Expected postoperative duration of analgesia will be more and number of rescue analgesics will be less upto 24 hours in in combined suprascapular and axillary nerve block than interscalene brachial plexus blockTimepoint: combined suprascapular and axillary nerve block will provide equivalent or better postoperative pain relief after shoulder surgery compared to interscalene brachial plexus block for 24 hours postoperatively.

MeasureTime frame
Haemodynamic parameter will remain stable and less complications are likely in in combined suprascaular and axillary nerve block than in intercalene brachial plexus blockTimepoint: patients will remain stable vitally and less complications in combined suprascaular and axillary nerve block than in intercalene brachial plexus block for at least 24 hours
