Intervention1: Forsus FRD appliance: Forsus FRD appliance will be attached bilaterally to zygomatic and mandibular anchorage plate for 6 months Control Intervention1: not applicable: not applicable

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Angle Class II Division 1 malocclusion in the permanent dentition 2. Convex profile giving a positive clinical visual treatment objective(VTO) 3. Subjects in deceleration phase of growth period having CVMI stage 4 and 5 4. No previous orthodontic treatment 5. No systemic disease or craniofacial anomaly

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of trauma to temporomandibular joint 2. Subjects with signs of periodontal disease. 3. Subjects with history of any prior systemic disease or long term medications affecting bone metabolism. 4. Subjects with history of previous orthodontic treatment.
