Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. individuals with tooth size- arch length discrepancy needing 1st premolar extraction. 2.individuals who have not undergone prior orthodontic treatment 3.healthy gingiva and periodontium

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.individuals with congenitally missing teeth 2.individuals with congenital systemic syndromes, cleft, craniofacial abnormalities.
