Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Controlled hypertensive patients with BP <140/90mmHg(ASA2) undergoing elective trans sphenoidal surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Hematocrit H/o is ischemic cardiovascular disease and conduction defects, H/o cerebrovascular disease and suspected neurological deficits, Hepatic and renal insufficiency, Patients on antipsychotic drugs, H/o bleeding disorder or on anticoagulant therapy, Known hypersensitivity to drug.

To assess the cerebral oxygen saturation ScO2 by using Near Infrared Spectroscopy during controlled hypotension in controlled hypertensive patients undergoing elective trans sphenoidal surgery.Timepoint: intraoperative period
