Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Parturients between 18 and 40 years of age with singleton pregnancy belonging to the American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical class I and II, posted for elective caesarean section under spinal anaesthesia will be included in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Parturients with extremes of height ( 170 cm), with anatomical spinal deformity, inability to flex the knees, body mass index (BMI) > 30 kg/m2, hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, diabetes mellitus, fetal abnormalities and having any contraindication to spinal will be excluded from the study.
