Intervention1: Group-Based Educational session on Diabetes: Diabetic patients and their family members will be invited for a group-based educational session on diabetes in a common area in the village

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Family members of patients with diabetes diagnosed in the last 5 years and who are not known to be diabetic.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Medical conditions leading to inability to comprehend to questionnaire. Known diabetic patients
