Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Phase 1: 1)Age: elders between 60-80 years 2)Diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus with peripheral neuropathy 3)Minimum Duration of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: One year 4)Participants with functional vision and hearing 5)Independently ambulant participants Phase 2: 1)Elders 60-80 years 2)Clinically diagnosed cases of diabetic neuropathy 3)TUG score more than or equal to 9.4 seconds 4)Participants with functional vision and hearing 5)Independently ambulant participants
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Phase 1: 1)Open Foot ulcers 2)Partial or complete foot Amputation 3)Acute or chronic pain or injury or illness which may interfere with ambulation 4)Participants who have cognitive or neuromuscular disorders which may affect balance like stroke or Parkinson or vertigo Phase 2: 1)Open Foot ulcers 2)Partial or complete foot Amputation 3)Acute or chronic pain or injury which may interfere with exercise participation 4)Cognitive deficits on Montreal cognitive Assessment Scale (MoCA) score less than or equal to 26 5)Participants who do not have functional or corrected vision and or hearing 6)Uncontrolled hypertension defined by SBP more than 180mm Hg and DBP more than 120mm Hg 7)Neurological symptoms present due to any other medical condition example stroke 8)Symptomatic postural hypotension 9)Enrolled in any other exercise program 10)Those with history of fall in last 6 months
