Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients 18 to 65 years of age with severe traumatic brain injury admitted to ICU undergoing mechanical ventilation and having optic nerve sheath diameter lessthan or equalto 5.8mm(aproximately 20mmHg of ICP) and SBP greaterthan or equal to 90 mm Hg

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Heart rate less than 45 , any chest injury, presence of haemothorax, pneumothorax, or a chest drainage tube, patient on dexmedetomidine infusion and patients who deny consent.
