Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Spinal cord injury with a lesion between C4-C8 ,American Spinal Injury Association impairment classification of A and B, The time between injury and inclusion is 1 week and Patients weaned from the ventilator

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Smokers, Any diagnosed Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and cardiac disease,Unable to perform glossopharyngeal insufflation because of the presence of trauma around the face or unable to comprehend commands.
