Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Gram positive cultures from community acquired/associated skin and soft tissue infection. A skin and soft tissue infection will be considered community-associated/acquired if the infection arose outside the healthcare setting and there is no history of surgery, hospitalization, catheterization, any other invasive procedure in the previous year, antibiotic usage in the previous two months or MRSA isolation in the past.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: samples from-surgical wounds, post instrumentation, diabetic foot infections, human or animal bite infections or from patients with history of hospital stay in last 3 weeks will be excluded from the study.
