Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Healthy individuals of either sex, aged 1 year and above living in the same community 2.Written informed consent by the family head 3.No symptom of Influenza like illness (An acute respiratory infection with Fever > 38°C AND Cough) at the time of enrollment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.People with symptoms of Influenza like illness/ fever in last 10 days which include 2.An acute respiratory infection with Fever > 38°C AND Cough 3.Pregnant women and lactating mother 4.Child below age of 1 year. 5.Individuals taking other preventive medicines for Influenza like illness 6.Patients with malignancy, immunocompromised state, life threatening diseases, end stage diseases.
